Gelderland asks for different planning than the north. Where Groningen and Friesland are flat and open, Gelderland gives layered landscape: the Veluwezoom with woodland and heath, castles and estates on the Veluwe edge, and Maas & Waal with water and space between Arnhem and Nijmegen.
That landscape changes how we plan light. Under the oaks of a castle avenue the light stays filtered and soft, even around midday. On the Veluwezoom, forest edge and heath behave differently from open riverside light in Maas & Waal; in Arnhem and Nijmegen I work with parks, quaysides and brick façades that reflect warmly towards the end of the day.
