Honest images, not a perfect pose
Family photography is not everyone smiling on command. It is an afternoon in Noorderplantsoen, playing in Haren or walking heathland near Zuidlaren while I photograph what unfolds.
With young children I keep sessions short and flexible. Naps, snacks and energy levels set the rhythm. Grandparents, three generations in one frame: that is how images appear that still move you years later.
