Family photography is not everyone smiling on command. It is walking, playing and pausing while I photograph what unfolds.
With young children I keep sessions short and flexible. Naps, snacks and energy levels set the rhythm. That is how images appear that still move you years later.
Groningen offers parks close to the city. Friesland gives space by the water. Drenthe invites forest and heath. Choose your region below for locations and tips.
