Calm, unobtrusive presence
Gelderland draws people who want a castle, forest edge or river landscape without travelling far between them. Weddings here unfold at venues such as Kasteel De Vanenburg in Putten, Landgoed Hotel Groot Warnsborn in Arnhem, or Landgoed Rhederoord on the Veluwezoom.
Gelderland reportage moves with your day. A ceremony by a tea pavilion, dinner in an orangery, or a winter wedding with warm indoor light: I photograph what happens, not what I imagined in advance. That suits a personal, relaxed wedding without hours of posing.
I travel across the province: Arnhem, Nijmegen, Putten, Wageningen, Barneveld and the villages between them. Castle gardens and park avenues give depth and filtered light; Maas & Waal gives water and space for quiet portraits after the ceremony.
Three landscapes sit close together here. The Veluwezoom has woodland and heath, the Veluwe edge has castles and estates, Maas & Waal has manors and river light. That matches how I work: calm, clear communication and respect for your timeline.
Outdoor ceremonies in park or orchard need a real plan B. Most Gelderland venues have a hall with windows or a covered transition, which keeps the reportage flowing when the weather turns rather than making the day feel rushed.
On estates, filtered light under trees works better than harsh midday on open lawns. We discuss your venue, the light and key moments in advance, so I can shift short portrait windows to the right hour without interrupting your programme.

Kind words
“Each photo captures so much emotion. The editing is beautiful, and the sense of style is amazing. We truly recommend Viktoria.”
Anna Sakharova·Wedding photography
“Viktoria's work feels genuinely unique because she shows you the image you hold in your mind, something few photographers turn into art. For me she is more than a photographer.”
B. Ward·Wedding photography
“Viktoria is a wonderful professional photographer. My husband and I were delighted with the photos we received.”

01
Every wedding begins with a personal conversation. We talk about your day, your story and what truly matters to you. How you want the atmosphere to feel in your images, and where you feel most yourselves. That clarity builds trust, so on the day I know what to watch for and you can focus on each other.
02
On your wedding I work quietly and observantly. I guide only when needed and leave room for real moments. The focus is on spontaneity, emotion and the people around you, not a pose list. Images that show how the day actually felt.
03
After the wedding I carefully select the images that tell your complete story. Each photograph is edited with attention to colour, light and mood. You receive everything in a private online gallery to relive and share. A reportage that shows not just how the day looked, but how it felt.

Yes. A consultation (online or in person) helps align expectations. Many couples also book an engagement session before the wedding day.
Most couples book between 6 and 10 hours, enough for the ceremony, drinks, group portraits and part of the reception. If you want getting-ready coverage and a relaxed portrait session, 8 to 12 hours is often ideal.
Most couples do. I guide gently with small prompts so everything stays natural. The goal is that you feel like yourselves and the images feel honest.

My studio is in Groningen. Gelderland is reachable: Arnhem and Nijmegen are about 2 to 2.25 hours away; Putten and Wageningen are often a little shorter. I work there at castles, estates and in Maas & Waal.
Yes. Castles and estates such as De Vanenburg, Groot Warnsborn or Rhederoord suit documentary coverage. I plan around filtered light under trees and keep group portraits efficient so you can return to your guests.
Both. Woodland and heath on the Veluwezoom give colour and texture, especially in late summer; Maas & Waal gives water and space. We plan short windows so your guests do not wait long.
Yes. I work in English and Ukrainian and am used to couples travelling from abroad for a Dutch celebration.
We agree a plan B in advance: an indoor room with windows, a covered transition, or a flexible portrait window. Soft overcast light in Gelderland often photographs beautifully when you stay unhurried.
